In
August, Blanca celebrates its summer festivals and again in honor of
their patron San Roque. This changes the decor, mona (sweet bread) by
bulls. Their bull running, declared as Regional Tourist Interest, is
undoubtedly the most important day for all inhabitants of Blanca.
Their bull running is a tradition that has been held for over three hundred years and it is a unique event in the region of Murcia.
During the morning, the atmosphere that exists along the entire bull running route is of an inordinate joy; dances and parades of brass bands, encourage all to join the festival. A festival, where everyone is well received.
The Township of Blana celebrates their festivals in honor of San Roque from 6 to 16 August. To download the festival program, please click here
